Welcome to my blog! I'm a mother of a 3 year old little boy and a 16 month old little girl. I currently run my own dayhome out of our home in Summerside. I have worked with children for as long as I can remember, whether it be as a summer camp leader, working at a daycare with children from ages 10 months-4 years, or during my practicums while completing my Education Degree. I do have my BEd, specializing in Elementary Education, and have experience teaching grades 1 and 2 French Immersion. My dayhome has been up and running since May, 2013.
My dayhome includes such things as; monthly calendars with themes (with relating songs, crafts, activities and snacks), a two week alternating meal plan including; lunches and snacks (am&pm), and lots of fun and learning!
*Samples of monthly themes are; Summer Fun, Bugs and Flowers, Things that go vroom, Christmas Cheer, etc, etc....
My hours of operation are: Monday- Friday 7:30AM - 5PM.
(Will be closed on all Statutory Holidays)
I have recently updated my certification in First Aid and CPR.
My daily rate is $30 per day.
I currently have 2 openings available- one full time and one part time/full time (between 3-5 days per week) one for a child of any age and one for a child 2 years of age or older.
